Online Tutoring

TEL now offers individual tutoring services through Skooli, an online tutoring platform that connects virtual learners to licensed teachers and experienced subject matter experts. These services are a completely optional addition to your online learning experience. If you decide to sign up for services through Skooli, be sure to register on the Skooli website.

Additionally, although TEL Education will be discontinuing its Student Success Coaching Program beginning Fall 2024, students will continue to have access to resource documents, presentations, and Virtual Workshop recordings produced by the Student Success Coaches. These can be accessed via the student resource guide, a collection of tools and strategies to help you progress through your course.

Writing Resources

Writing Center

The Writing Center is a resource for students to use when completing all written assignments in this course. In it are resources and explanations of citations, writing styles, and the writing process. Explore ways to appropriately use AI. Delve into the writing center now to become familiar with the information available. Then, refer to it when conducting research and writing your mastery assignment. The purpose of the Writing Center is to use the information to guide and inform your own writing.

Writing Formatting

The courses require college-level writing in all discussions, essays, and research papers. There are different standards for writing and citation formatting across various course subjects. APA (American Psychological Association) is used in education, psychology, and social sciences. MLA (Modern Language Association) style is used by most humanities, history courses, English language and literature classes. Scientific Style and Format, also known as CSE (Council of Science Editors), is often used in science courses.

Disability Services Statement

We are committed to providing equitable student access to course content and materials by providing reasonable accommodations for all persons with disabilities. We also comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
