Effective Online Learning

In order to succeed in an online course, it is necessary for learners to develop the characteristics of an effective learner within online learning environments. This lesson explores these characteristics which include being inquisitive, being focused/goal oriented, being a planner, and possessing good communication skills. It is important to develop these skills to create a foundation for lifelong learning. Lifelong learning is the act of embarking on purposeful learning which continues throughout life with the aspiration of improving knowledge, skills, and competence.
